Michael Yin

Michael is a Registered Acupuncturist and graduated with a Diploma from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver. He is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.

Michael is trained to provide both Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture and Medical Acupuncture. Both systems have evidence-based clinical trial data to prove both acupuncture system works when performed on the human body. The only difference is the mechanism each system triggers within our body to promote healing. Michael is trained to provide his expertise in explaining and performing the best treatment for each patient.

In addition to acupuncture, Michael also utilizes low-level laser devices in his treatments. Laser therapy offers an added advantage in conjunction with acupuncture to help manage pain and inflammation, while accelerating tissue regeneration.

For the past few years, Michael has been helping senior racquet sports club players in Vancouver maintain body homeostasis from both musculoskeletal and body organs with great success. The players are staying healthy and continues to maintain the edge on and off the court.

Other than musculoskeletal related symptoms, Michael provides treatment to individuals who are suffering from osteoarthritis, tingling and numbness, anxiety/stress, as well as male and female hormonal related imbalances including hot flashes, PMS, low libido, migraine headache, to name just a few.
